Foiled boards such as Mirricard (supplied by Celloglas) are widely used for packaging - especially for computer games, DVD, and CD packaging, as well as covers for magazines & paperbacks, report & accounts, postcards, mailers and general marketing material.
As well as silver and gold foil, foiled boards are available with a wide range of special effects - such as brushed aluminium or holographic patterns. For maximum impact we are able to print in register with the foiled holographic effects.
Colour Five print on foiled papers and boards using UV inks, with the option of using a selective white to increase contrast and readability. Applying a special UV varnish in-line helps protect the foiled surface from scratching or marking.
